The new Hanna Hospital was originally the school.
After the hospital was moved the old hospital was converted into living quarters. (Hanna Miner, 1962)
When a new school was built in 1921 the building became the Cottage Home for miners, a boarding house managed by Mary Stebner Ford. In 1927 the Cottage Home was converted into a new hospital.
