1916 April 21: William "Wild Bill" Carlisle, the infamous “Last Train Robber,” robbed the passengers on the Union Pacific San Francisco Limited near Hanna, Wyoming.
1916 May 10: A posse was put together and "Wild Bill" was caught the next day just north of Hanna. He was sentenced to life in prison at the State Penitentiary in Rawlins.
