1929 – 1932: Johnson Coal Company's Johnson Underground Mine at Sand Creek and Carbon, Wyoming

The Johnson Coal Company's Johnson underground mine started coal production in 1929. The mine was closed in 1932. The mine produced coal for 4 years and during that time the mine produced 6,042 tons of coal with 2 workers. No deaths were found for the Johnson mine.
