On display in front of the Hanna Basin Museum
Dedication - Sunday May 29, 2011
In Memory of Lois Lyon Hartman
The original lamp post, which once welcomed visitors to the Amusement Hall, known as “Love's,” has been placed on the museum grounds. The lamppost was a gift from the family of Lois Lyon Hartmann and was dedicated on Sunday May 29, 2011 to her memory. Rescued before the building was razed, the fixture has required extensive rehabilitation. Ken Besel of the Society and Todd Heward of Medicine Bow have contributed their expertise and talent to this project. A nice crowd was on hand for the dedication. (Rawlins Daily Times, May 27, 2011)
