Julian Choate, Hanna Old Timer

Born and raised in Shelbyville, Ky., Mr. Julian Choate came to Wyoming as a health seeker twenty-five years ago - to historic Old Carbon. He began work for The Union Pacific Coal Company under the supervision of Mr. John Black, known to all Old-Timers. He was a member of the Hanna Band of early days and is now a cornetist in Hanna's pride - the new band. Mr. Choate took into Hanna the second automobile to make its appearance there and was tremendously popular with the girls, all of whom he use to take driving. (UPCCEM, June 1927)
