1912 September 18: Amelia Leino was born to John V. Leino. ​
1928: Meimi Leino graduated from Hanna High School. 
1930: Amelia Leino graduated from Hanna, High School. 
1934: Amelia Leino graduated from nurses training. She taught nursing until her enlistment, during which time she taught one year at the Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
1942 August 16: Amelia Leino enlisted in the United States Army.
1944 May 14: Meimi Leino worked in the Mine Office at Hanna as clerk for 16 months. ​

August 15, 1943: Lieutenant Leino is a native of Hanna, being the youngest of Hanna Old Timer John V. Leino’s three daughters. After graduating with highest honors from the Hanna High School, she received her nurse’s degree and cap at the Cook County, Illinois, School of Nursing. Then followed one year of post-graduate study in the field of teaching and administration at the same institution, which employed her as an assistant nursing arts instructor for two and one-half years. She was also an instructor at the Emanuel Hospital school of nurses at Portland, Oregon, for a year before enlisting in the Army. UPCCEM, June 1943)

1944: Captain Amelia Leino has been overseas since June 1944 and has been with the Army Nurses Corps for 17 months. She graduated from nurses training in 1934 and taught nursing until her enlistment, during which time she taught one year at the Emanuel Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
1944 May 14: Meimi Leino entered service taking five weeks of Basic Training at Des Moines, Iowa, and a week of special training at Orlando, Florida. She is now with the A.A.F. W.F.T.C. in Santa Ana, California. (UPCCEM, May 1944)
1946 August 8: Amelia Leino was discharged from the Army.

1985 April 14: Amelia Leino died in Cheyenne, Wyoming and buried in the Beth El Cemetery.
