Raymond E. Peterson
Pfc. Raymond E. Peterson, son of Mr. And Mrs. Henry Peterson, of Hanna, worked at the Hanna No. 4 Mine from May 1938, until he entered the service in December 1941.
Raymond received his basic training at San Diego and served in the South Pacific for 18 months, returning to the States in November 1943. In December he visited his parents, relatives and friends in Hanna, and also saw his wife in Detroit, where she is employed.
At present, Raymond is in the Naval Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa., awaiting his call to return to duty. (UPCCEM, February 1944)
