Lorain Hazel Robinson (Rainey), faithful servant of God, passed into glory January 14, 2022, in Puyallup, WA.
She was a resident of Superior, WY from 1953 to 1988. She resided in Green River, WY from 1988 to 2018.
Lorain was born on August 7, 1932, in Hanna, WY to Lucille Ann Booker Robinson and Royal Douglas Robinson, Sr.
Mrs. Robinson attended schools in Hanna, Wyoming and was a 1951 graduate of Hanna High School.
She married Milford Othello Robinson August 15, 1953 in Rawlins, Wyoming. He preceded her in death June 28, 2006.
Mrs. Robinson was raised in the Episcopal Church. She recently attended New Harvest Time Church.
She loved cooking for and entertaining family and friends. Mrs. Robinson was an avid reader of African American History Books and her Bible. She also enjoyed shopping.
Survivors include four sons, Duane Robinson and wife Rachel of Austin, Texas; Milford Muhammad and wife Vernita of Seattle, Washington; Corey Robinson and wife Donna of Puylalllup, Washington; Brian Robinson and wife Tonya of Santa Paula, California; two sisters Sharon Williams of Prescott, Arizona; Marilyn Robinson of Aurora, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Jean Shaw of Laramie, Wyoming; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, several cousins; nieces; nephew and friends.
Lorain has followed into eternal life; her maternal grandparents; AU Booker and Alice Inmon Cross, paternal grandparents; Mark Lewis Robinson and Theodosia Milenda Williams Robinson, great uncle Cecil Booker, her parents, her husband, siblings; Cecil Robinson, Evelyn Robinson Page, Laverne Robinson, Delores Robinson Crouch Beaver, Royal Robinson, Jr., Robert Robinson, Sandra Robinson Green, children; Christene, Robert and Kathleen; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Cremation has taken place; a Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date. (Vase Funeral Homes)
