1889 February 5: David John Evans was born in Carmarthenshire, Wales to John B. and Caroline (Jones) Evans.
1891: David's father, John Evans, a coal miner, age 26, born in Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire, Wales. His mother, Caroline [Jones], age 23, born in Brecon, Breconshire, Wales. His brother, William (Willie Christopher) was also born in Hafod, Swansea, Wales, 11 months old. (1891 UK Census)
1896: June 6: Clara Simpson was born in Almy, Wyoming to Joseph and Martha Anne (Brown) Simpson.
1891: David immigrated to Carbon, Carbon County, Wyoming with his parents. His grandparents were already living in Carbon, Wyoming, they immigrated in 1888.
1894: After the death of his mother Caroline (Jones) Evans, David Evans went to live with his aunt, Catherine (Jones) and her husband William Jones, a coal miner, in Carbon, Wyoming.
1912 September 24: David Evans married Clara Simpson in Hanna.
1914: David John Evans registered for military service at the age 25 - born in Carmarthenshire, Wales, Royal Engineers on Short Service Attestation. (UK Registration Card)
1917-1918: David Evans, Caucasian, married, born Feb. 5, 1889 in Wales, Great Britain, registered for the US draft for World War I.
1917 June 5: David Jones registered for the draft in Frontier, Wyoming. David John Evans registered for the draft. He listed his date of birth as February 5, 1889, in Cardiff, Wales, and that he is now employed as a night watchman for the Kemmerer Coal Company in Frontier. He claims a wife and one child. He is of medium height and build, with gray eyes and light-colored hair.
1919 January 2: David Evans died in Kemmerer, Wyoming of Pneumonia. (Wyoming Death Record) He was buried in the Kemmerer, Wyoming in the South Lincoln Cemetery.

Another sad event transpired last week when David J Evans, who with his family had come up from Hanna to spend the Christmas festivities with his wife's mother, Mrs. Simpson in Frontier developed pneumonia and died last Thursday, January 2. He was a man about 30 years old, was born in Glamorganshire, Wales, in 1889 coming to this country at the age of two years, reaching Carbon Wyo., about that time and has lived here till death. On the 24th of Sept 1918, he and Miss Clara Simpson were married. To their union were given three children, two of whom are living, two little girls not yet old enough to realize what has transpired in the death of their father. He was buried in the cemetery at Kemmerer last Sunday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted by Rev. J. M. Sutton in the home of Mrs. Simpson in Frontier. A goodly number of the brothers of the union to which he belonged as well as many other sorrowing friends were in attendance. (Kemmerer Camera, January 08, 1919)

1944 June 30: Clara, age 48, married Ronald Wright Henry in Yuma, Arizona.
1968 December 5: Clara (Simpson) (Evans) (Conroy) Henry died at age 72 in Ventura, California.
1974 July 25: Ronald Wright Henry, born May 19, 1893, died in Camarillo, Ventura, California at the age of 73.
