1876 April 18: John Elihu McNees was born in Warren, Tennessee to Harriet (Atkinson) and John S. McNees.
1884 December 28: Isabelle “Belle” Miller Tennant was born in Kansas to Alexander and Mary (Gary) Tennant.
1900: Isabelle Tennant was living in Hanna, Wyoming with her mother and father.
1904 September 4: John McNees age 28 and Isabelle Tennant age 19 married in Hanna, Wyoming

April 27, 1945: John McNeese died at age of 69 in Carbon County, Wyoming and was buried in the Hanna, Wyoming Cemetery.
1968 May 2: Isabelle “Belle” (Tennant) McNeese died in Goshen County, Wyoming at age of 83 and was buried in the Hanna cemetery next to her husband John.
John and Isabelle (Tennant) McNeese had eight children together:
- John Alexander McNees (1905 -1974) Born in Carbon County, Wyoming. Died in Carbon County, Wyoming at age 68. Buried in Hanna Cemetery in plot 351.
- Isabelle Miller "Mary"McNees (1908 - 1998) Born in Hanna, Carbon County, Wyoming. Married Jesse Chester Posey in Laramie, Wyoming, July 1929. Died in Riverton, Wyoming at the age of 89.
- Scott Taylor McNeese (1910 - 1989) Born at the ranch in Carbon County, Wyoming. Married Gertrude Kerr in Colorado, in 1938. Died in Rawlins, Wyoming at the age of 79. Buried in Saratoga, Wyoming.
- William Henry "Bill" McNees (1912 - 1977) Born in Hanna, Carbon County, Wyoming. Married June Pixler in 1937. Died in Casper, Wyoming.
- James "Jimmy" McNees (1915 - 1968) Born in Carbon County, Wyoming. Died in Carbon County, Wyoming at the age of 53. Buried in the Hanna Cemetery in plot 351
- Elihu Arthur "Art" McNees (1918 - 1996) Born in Carbon County, Wyoming. Married Lucy Lanenderfer in Rawlins. Died in Wenatchee, Washington at the age of 77.
- Charles Robert "Chuck" McNees (1929 - 1983) Born at the ranch in Carbon County, Wyoming. Died at age 60 in Rawlins, Wyoming. Buried in the Hanna Cemetery.
- Mary Harriet McNees (1925 - 1985) Born in Rawlins, Wyoming. Married Charles West in 1944 in Greeley Colorado. Died at age 59 in Fruita, Messa, Colorado, January 18, 1985 and buried in the Hanna, Wyoming cemetery.
