Violet Louise While was born on August 6, 1924, in Hanna, Wyoming, to John Jr. and Janet "Jessie" (Tennent) While. She married Gordon Clifford Roop on December 28, 1958, in Laramie, Wyoming. They had two children during their marriage. She died on December 21, 2001, in Laramie, Wyoming, at the age of 77 and was buried in the Hanna, Wyoming cemetery. (BL)

When Gordon Clifford Roop was born on August 2, 1929, in Indianola, Nebraska, his father, Ire, was 27 and his mother, Edith, was 30. He married Violet Louise While on December 28, 1958, in Laramie, Wyoming. They had two children during their marriage. He died on November 9, 2005, in Laramie, Wyoming, at the age of 76 and was buried in the Hanna, Wyoming cemetery. (BL).
