Life Story
Emil Salo was born April 21, 1887, in Finland. He arrived in this country from Finland about 1906. Over the years Emil worked for the Union Pacific Coal Company in Hanna as a Boiler Man in Hanna th3 No. 2, the No, 3 and the No. 4 mines. He had one daughter Gertrude Milliken who also lived in Hanna. He was registered with the military for both World War I and World War II. He died November 5, 1966 in Hanna, Wyoming at the age of 79 and buried in the Hanna cemetery. (Ancestry)
